Pricing
How pricing works
We don't post prices, because two houses never need the same work. Here is how the number is made.
What decides the price
For whole-home electrification, these decide it. We list each on the plan.
Heat pump capacity, from the load calculation
Whether the ducts are reused, repaired or replaced
Panel and service size
How far the wire runs from the panel
Access: attic, crawlspace, finished walls
Permits, and any utility work
What the estimate includes, and what it doesn't
Each piece of work is a line on the plan, with the equipment model named. Permits, removal of the old equipment and cleanup are lines too.
Includes: equipment, labor, permits, haul-away
Doesn't include: the gas utility's work at the meter, drywall painting, work you leave out
How long the plan's price holds is written on it
What happens at the visit
We walk the house, check the panel and meter, test the ducts and measure for the load calculation. We tell you before we book it whether the assessment has a fee and whether it is credited toward the work if you hire us.
After hours
We plan and install on weekdays, and nobody answers the phone at night. For a carbon monoxide alarm or a gas smell, leave the house and call 911. If your heat fails, call us in business hours and we'll book the earliest slot.
When you get the number
The price comes in the written plan, before any work starts, as a fixed price for the lines on it. If we find something that changes the work, we price it in writing and wait for your yes.
