Service
Circuits and chargers
Dedicated circuits for the appliances going electric, wired now or planned for later.
A dedicated circuit serves one appliance. It keeps a range, a dryer, a water heater or a charger from sharing power with the rest of the house.

Signs
When it's time to look at this.
You're buying an induction range
It needs a circuit of its own, often a bigger one than the gas range had.
A heat pump water heater is next
It needs a circuit near where it will stand.
You're getting an electric car
A charger needs a dedicated circuit and a place to mount.
The dryer is gas
An electric dryer needs a different outlet and circuit.
You want to be ready
We can run wire and leave capacity so later changes don't open the walls again.
The circuits aren't labeled
A panel with no labels slows every future job.
The visit
What happens at the visit.
- 01
Step 1: We walk the house
Where each appliance will stand and how the wire will get there.
- 02
Step 2: We check capacity
Whether the panel has the room and the service has the margin.
- 03
Step 3: We write the plan
Each circuit on its own line, with its location and its rating.
- 04
Step 4: You decide
You choose which circuits to build now and which to leave for later.
Cost
What drives the cost.
We don't print prices here. These are the things that move the number, and the plan prices each one.
Distance
The wire run from the panel to the appliance.
Access
Through finished walls, an attic, a crawlspace or the garage.
Rating
A range circuit is larger than a charger's.
Charger
The unit you choose, and whether it mounts inside or out.
Panel
Whether there's a free slot or the panel has to change.
Permit
A permit for each new circuit, pulled by us.
Questions
Questions about this work
Will my panel handle a heat pump?
It depends on the house. We add up what the panel carries now and what you want to add, using a load calculation, before we choose any equipment. If the panel is full, the plan says whether a new panel or a subpanel is the smaller change.
Which programs can lower the cost?
Utility and state programs change often, and some depend on household income. We tell you which ones look open for your address when we write the plan. The program, not us, decides who qualifies, and we don't promise any amount.
Do you pull the permits?
Yes. We pull the mechanical and electrical permits, schedule the inspections and tell you which days someone needs to be home.
